Your Secret to Success Is Right In Front Of You
People always ask what the secret to being successful is. There is no secret pill or success is not going to just one day come falling out of the sky and hit you upside the head. The secret to success is right in front of you. It’s you! Sure an idea my come up someday that you just thought of but the only way it will become successful is again you. There are several keys that you need to develop to become successful.
Self-esteem
The first one is personal self-esteem. Can you name one person that you know that is successful and has a low self-esteem? Anyone? I sure don’t know anyone. Everyone I know that is very successful has high self-esteem of themselves. If you have low self-esteem of yourself your business associates will since it within seconds. I will be writing a future article about self-esteem. There are several self help books and audio pieces out there that you can get to invest in yourself. This leads into my next key to your success.
Investment
That is to invest in you. You have to invest in yourself to become successful. You have to seek out the knowledge that you need to help you become successful in your business and in life in general. Always seek to improve yourself whether it is some personal development books or audio, learning how to do a particular task in your business better, online trainings, or company functions. Always ask for help and don’t quite. When you get lost do you ask someone for directions? If you are one that doesn’t stop and ask for directions when you are lost you are probably someone that doesn’t ask for help with your business. Ok I know you are saying I don’t get lost anymore because now I have a GPS. Do you have one for your business?
Validation
A lot of people need validation of others and their peers. If others opinions are continually the opposite of what you feel it will continually lower your self-esteem. You don’t always need validation from others. You are who you are. Don’t get me wrong there is a difference between asking for advice and how you feel of what other people think about you. If there is something that you feel strongly about you don’t need to get validation from others. Just remember the Nike saying. Just Do It! The only real opinion that matters is yours. The part of you being in business is the risk you are taking and your opinion is the one that counts.
These are 3 very important keys to your success. We all have choices that we have to decide what road we must take. With these 3 keys implemented into your business and life you will find yourself to a smoother road to success.
“The road to success is always under construction.” Arnold Palmer
I would love to hear your comments and ask you these questions.
How do you find your self-esteem?
Do find that your self-esteem may be on a roller coaster sometimes?
Do you invest in yourself and if so how?
Do you find that you ask others for their opinion or validation more times than not?
Please leave your answers and any comments for me. I would love to hear from you but then again my opinion is the one that counts for me so leave any kind of comment that you would like and feel free to share with your friends.
God Bless and have a Wonderful Day!

Hi LD,
great article. Thanks for sharing. Here are my answers to your questions:
1. I find self-esteem through amplifying my successes and mentally and emotionally “reduce” my failures – and to learn from them.
2. It’s easy to love myself if everything’s all right in my life. The test of self-love is when “nothing works”. I’m learning to love myself especially in such roller coaster phases.
3. I invest time, energy, trust in my personal development, of course also money if necessary but money wouldn’t replace dedication and commitment.
4. I often ask for advice, but I choose the advisor. For example, I wouldn’t ask for advice how to invest in real estate froom a person who has never invested in real estate.
Take care
