With the current economy more Americans are turning to some type of home business to help supplement their income or replace their income. With such uncertainty of economic advisors opinions and perception of the economy Americans are taking matters into their own hands. They are asking themselves some very important questions. How secure is my job? Am I worried about a possible future lay off? Do I have to stretch my paycheck to meet my current obligations? Spending more time at my job than with my family? What can I do about it?

The possible answer could be to start your own network marketing home business. The power of a network marketing home business gives you a passive or residual income. In a down economy it may be a perfect time to start a business. If you are in the market of starting your own business and don’t have large amount of capitol network marketing could be a good fit. The Bureau of Labor of Statistics reports that 7 million jobs have vanished between December 2007 and August of 2009. This has been a time of financial frustration for most Americans and a wake up call for a new breed of entrepreneurs. Being dissatisfied with their dependency on the economic market these network market builders work to create an independent and secure way of life for themselves and family.
The simplicity and the possibility of unlimited earning potential is the contributing factor to this booming industry’s success. The Direct Selling Association reported that network marketing sales in the United States almost reached $30 billion in 2008. There are more than 15 million people the United States that are involved in this booming industry which include products such as cosmetics, health supplements, energy drinks, clothing, food, legal services and much more.
One of the appealing aspects of network marketing home business is that it doesn’t have to require a large time commitment. With the correct plan and training your business can be marketed very effectively on the internet to free up your time do what is that you enjoy doing. DSA reported that in 2008 a study showed that 30 percent of these independent home business owners only worked one to 4 hours per week. Only 12 percent worked 20 hours or more a week on their business. Those owners that invested their time and energy did have more success to create substantial income. It is a reoccurring myth that home based business owners do not make much money. The facts are that 6.6 million home business’s make 50 percent of the house hold income. As for dollar figures 35 percent of home business generate over $125,000 in revenue and that 8% of them generate over $500,000 per year.
So if you want to create additional stream of income or maybe replace your 9 to 5 job to spend the time to do the things you always wanted to do then maybe it time to consider the freedom, flexibility and the great earning potential of your own home business network marketing company.
