The Power of Writing Articles for Marketing

Whether you believe it or not the power of writing articles for marketing purposes for your business is and can be very powerful.  Promoting your business by other media sources can be really expensive but writing articles about your niche can send a lot of traffic to your website and the best thing about this is you don’t pay for any advertising cost.

Numerous people have told me that they don’t feel they can write articles.  My answer to them is I said the exact same thing before I started.  You just need to belly up and give it a try and bring value to your readers.  Trust me if I can write articles for marketing my niche and drive traffic to website anyone can.

The other question I get is that how do I get my articles ranked in the search engines to drive traffic to my website?  I don’t think I can get my articles ranked.  My answer again is I felt exactly the same way. The techniques and skill that you can learn in a very short time frame can have your articles ranked on the first page of Google.  Yea right! I am serious.  I am telling you that you can.  Let me ask you this.  Would you rather pay for PPC (Pay Per Click) to have an advertising ad on first page of Google or have an article on the first page of Google, Yahoo, and Bing for FREE?

So if you are not writing articles for your business you need to start.  If you are just starting a business you need to look at article marketing as one of your primary marketing strategies.  If you are feeling the same way I felt before I started writing articles hopefully you will give it a try.  Check back here in the near future as I will be going over techniques of getting your articles ranked in the search engines (SEO).

I always like hearing from everyone so leave any comments that you may wish and feel free to share this article with your friends and associates.

Oh!  As they always say is that the proof is in the pudding, right?

Check out the video with the screen shots of the last article I wrote and where it ended up on Google 11 days after I posted it and you can see the power of writing articles.  The video is below this article.

Quote For The Day Agatha Christie

I watched a great video by Dr. Phillip Goudeaux about 10 steps to fight off Discouragement.  When we get discouraged it can affect us in so many ways.  The biggest way it affects us the most is with our emotions.  It can consume our every thought and drain our courage.  It can make us angry, lonely, and make us feel disappointed in ourselves.  It can even make some people bitter.  It attacks our vision, passion, dreams, hopes and faith because life can throw so many different things at us at a given notice.

We do have the ability to change and fight off discouragement and change our circumstances and continue on our path.  Here are 10 steps of fighting off discouragement.

  1. Become your own cheerleader-you don’t have to get pom poms but pat yourself on the back for even the little triumphs or do a little jig (dance).
  2. Stay positive-even in the most negative situation stay positive about it and look how you can change the negative to a positive.
  3. You are in control- remember that you are always in control of yourself, attitude, and environment.
  4. Change your atmosphere- do something different, get away to think or meditate.
  5. Don’t associate around negativity- if you are constantly around negative individuals you need to change.  Maybe you don’t associate with these individuals.
  6. Have a vision of winning-vision yourself accomplishing your goal or promise to yourself.
  7. Get more sleep-this is a hard one for me but this does really help.  Take time to make sure you are getting enough sleep even if you take a power nap to rejuvenate.
  8. Recognize things that bring discouragement-be more receptive of things that make you discouraged and make a note of it and make a change.
  9. Stay productive and focused-by staying productive and focused on what you need to get accomplished it will become a positive accomplishment over any discouragement.
  10. Attitude-a positive attitude will always defeat discouragement.  Attitude is more important than the problem that has come into your life.

I believe that attitude is key to all of these points.  If you can keep a positive attitude you will find that the other 9 keys will fall into place.  I hope this brought some value to you and keep your head up and fight off any discouragement.  I have faith in you.

As always I love to hear any comments you may have and feel free to share with your friends.

Tell me a story or situation that you rose above discouragement.
