So how do define that burning desire to have success in your life?

Good question. There are numerous opinions out there and some keys may work for you and there will be some that will not work for you. This is the 1^st article of this series that will take you through the steps to defining and finding your burning desire for success.

The first key to focus on is what is it that motivates you?

So how do we find out what motivates you? Well, most individuals are motivated by things that they want or by pain within them of changes they want to make within their life. So what is it that you want or achieve with your goals or changes within yourself? It could be money, that you hate your job, spending more time with your family or what ever it maybe you need to find what it is for you.

Once you define what it is that you want or changes you want to make you need to really define why.

How to define your why?

This is the must do process to find your burning desire for success. To help you find your burning desire for success you need to find out why. There is a very simple step to defining your why. First thing you need to do is take out a piece of paper or open a word document of some kind. The next thing you need to do is write down what it is that you want to change or what it is that you want then you will ask yourself why. Let me take you through an example.

I want to quite my job…

I don’t make enough money
I don’t find satisfaction or enjoyment with my job
Long hours
Keeps me from my family
I want to do something different

Okay you get the jest of this step so once you list your why’s you need to dig in deeper to your why.

You have found your burning desire for success…

Okay you see how you need to drill down into your why. The reason you drill down so far into your why is finding the things that will create a burning desire for success. As you can see you need to actually define the reasons of your why. Just by simple listing your why and not defining exactly what you are looking for will not impact on finding your burning desire for success. It even helps by putting pictures next to these as they always say a picture is worth 1,000 words.

As you can see you will find similar answers as you drill down for each why. This is good because with these being related these are even higher desires that you will focus on. Make sure you go through each one and define each why, this is very critical.

Your next step is take your why outline and post it in your office, mirror, fridge, or where ever it maybe that you see it everyday.
